First Baptist Church in De Queen will be celebrating their 125th anniversary on Sunday, July 11, with worship, remembrances, and dinner. The church was established one year before the city of De Queen was incorporated and has been an integral part of this community ever since. It’s purpose was, and continues to be, the sharing of the gospel of Christ with this community and the surrounding area.

Everyone is invited to come and celebrate this important occasion with the church. Worship will be at 9:30, fellowship at 11:00 and lunch at 12 noon. A special invitation is extended to Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Kern Heights Baptist Church and Iglesia Buatiste Emmanual. These churches were all started as missions of First Baptist Church.
