The tax-free weekend is August 7th & 8th. New to the exemptions this year are computers, laptops, mouses, printers, monitors, tablets, cell phones, calculators, known as electronic devices. Also included is clothing and footwear (under $100), jewelry, cosmetics, umbrellas, handbags (under $50). Schools supplies such as backpacks, blackboard chalk, and lunch boxes.  School art supplies…paints, clay, and drawing pads….School instructional materials…textbooks, workbooks, and maps.
