Esmeralda Balderas-Hernandez is the daughter of Pedro and Maria Balderas. She is a De queen High School Honor Graduate, secretary of National Honor Society, FCCLA, soccer and basketball. She has been awarded the Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy and named December Rotary Student of the Month.
Esmeralda's plans are to attend Arkansas Tech University and double major in business and communications. Arkansas Tech has awarded Esmeralda the University Scholarship valued at $28,000
