UA Cossatot Fiesta Fest to be held in Downtown De Queen

Fiesta Fest, formally known as Diversity Fest, will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, on North 3rd Street in front of the courthouse in Downtown De Queen from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The festival’s focus is bringing the community together to celebrate Hispanic cultures and raise scholarship money for UA Cossatot students.
The festival will kick-off with a parade and a welcome speech by Miss UA Cossatot 2019 and De Queen Mayor, Jeff Brown. Festivities will include food, vendors, live music, a DJ, folkloric dancing, carnival rides, games, face painting, shopping, and a petting zoo.
The UA Cossatot Student Ambassadors will host the De Kolores 5K run before the festival at 8:00 AM in the same location. The entry fee is $20 and t-shirts are guaranteed to pre-registration participants. Registration forms can be found at www.cccua.edu/ff5k.
