Sinai Trejo, De Queen High School Valedictorian, has received a freshman award of $63,0000 from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York.

Sinai is the daughter of Rosa Trejo and Gil Trejo. She is Vice-President of National Honor Society, Publicity Officer for Spanish Club, Member of Quiz Bowl, Gifted and Talented as well as the Robotics Club.

Sinai's plans are to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in Spanish as well as a bilingual certificate while preparing for medical school.
