Dania Castillo, daughter of George and Brenda Ramirez,has been awarded an $8,000 Leadership Scholarship from Arkansas Tech University.
The De Queen High School senior is the cheer captain, member of Future Teachers of America, Track and Field and volunteers at the Mary and Martha Center.
Her plans are to major in Elementary Education.
